Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 05 Nov 2024
Today’s scripture is so very spot on in describing the state of the church globally in this present time. Social scientists describe this age as the post-christian and post-truth era. Are they right? There’s a large number of people who profess to be following Christ but their behaviour and attitude doesn’t in any way reflect any association with the person and teachings of Christ. In fact they seem to be diametrically opposed to Jesus Christ in character and in deed. The Bible rightly calls them the children of Belial. They are renegades and incapable of doing any righteous work. You must dissociate yourself from such with great urgency lest you partake in the judgement reserved for such rebels.
