Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 14 Jan 2024
Out of a deep-seated unfathomable love for humans, God sent His only begotten Son into a hostile world that is in the grip of a vicious enemy called Satan. God affirmed His Son when He declared “this is my beloved Son, hear Him”. While over a billion souls have responded positively to the good news of God's kingdom that Jesus brought, believing it to be the truth of Jehovah, there are still billions who have rejected the message of salvation through Christ. Though their rejection does not change God's truth, their posture in the matter makes Jehovah a liar. God cannot lie, to even insinuate that the Sovereign God might be lying is a dangerous path to tread. And anyone who does that needs to search their soul and have their head examined. I urge you to believe the gospel of Christ and to embrace it and avoid Jehovah's wrath.
