Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 16 Nov 2023
Are you willing and ready to spend and be spent for the gospel of Jesus Christ? No one can follow Jesus on their own terms. Christ alone dictates the terms of engagement, and that is non-negotiable. You are either in or out. I will have you know that it is free to come to Jesus and receive the gift of salvation, but there's a cost to pay to remain in Jesus Christ. If need be, you must be ready to lose your life for the sake of the good news of Jehovah's kingdom. Where are you in your discipleship journey? Don't be deceived, it is impossible to be in Christ's camp if you are not willing to bear His yoke. And you can't go through life yokeless. I assure you that you don't want to consider the alternative to Christ's yoke.
