God’s Word for Today - 22 Nov 2024
Isaiah 32:6 KJV — For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.
Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 22 Nov 2024
It is not abnormal for anyone who has not received the gift of salvation by grace through faith in Christ to still behave in ways dictated by their “fallen” human nature. Their mantra is an egocentric “live and let die” lifestyle. It is not uncommon for them to engage in all forms of despicable behaviour as they perpetrate their wickedness. But you as a follower of Christ and all that is excellent should not be surprised at this. Rather you must pray for them to be loosed from the satanic hold on them and be translated into God’s light. Interceding for those perishing souls is your primary responsibility as a disciple of Christ.
Pray: Gracious Jehovah, fill me with grace and compassion to intercede for unsaved souls and workers of iniquity. #Mok
