Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 24 May 2024
Did you know that the devil is the most experienced deceiver and lord of deception? He has been playing this game for thousands of years now and none can measure up to his prowess in deceiving people. The Bible warns those who will listen and obey to be very wary of the wiles of satan. And also to not think you can prevail on your own will power or strength. Those who think this way are already deceived by the devil and will fail catastrophically, unless they repent and change. I want you to know that satan is such a coward and will not seek a direct confrontation with you in asking you to blatantly disobey Jehovah. His modus operandi is to subtly get you to compromise, and once you do to begin to harass you as being disobedient to God. So I urge you to not walk in the way of your fleshly desires, but to focus on bearing the fruit of the Holy Spirit in you.
Pray: Dear Lord, help me to discern when satan is at work and to learn to lean on You as my defence. #Mok
