Acceptable spiritual fast that attracts divine attention and reward is never publicised to gain recognition from people, but that seems to be the norm in church communities across the world. People love to put their fasting on display so others can esteem them as being very spiritual. God says this is worthless and only earns disdain from Jehovah. If you have been entangled in the web of falsehood preached by ignorant leaders, it is time to deliver yourself from the stranglehold of false doctrines about fasting by listening to the truth of God on the matter. Know that you can’t keep doing the same wrong thing and expect a different result.
