1 Peter 5:5 KJV — Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 30 Sept 2023
Nowhere else in world cultures and religions does the doctrine of mutual submission and humility play a central role as in the holy bible, which is the word of God. This is so important to Jehovah that he sent His Son Jesus Christ to be incarnated in the form of a human in a complete show of humility to model and teach us how to be humble. None of us has any excuse to not be humble in our relationship with others, no matter what status you have in life. God will not hesitate to clip your wings if you continue in your pride, so desist from being proud and learn to be humble. It pays.
