Micah 6:8 (KJV): He hath shewed thee, O man, what [is] good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 20 Oct 2023
Jehovah has very simple and clear expectations of all of us. You don't need anyone to interpret today's scripture for you. Our world would be a much better place if everyone would strive to do justice, be merciful in exercising justice and walk in reverence of God. But humans are a rebellious bunch who will agree to anything as long as it is not required by God in the Bible. If you belong in this camp of rebels you must know that you are at risk of God's condemnation to the lake of fire. The good news is that God does not want you to perish, so He is offering you the opportunity to repent and forsake rebellion today. How will you respond to God's offer? Tomorrow may be too late.
