Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 04 July 2026

Pride in any form is a very loathsome behaviour that Jehovah detests and anyone who indulges in this behaviour will incur the wrath of God if they refuse to repent and forsake being proud. Pride was the root cause of satan’s rebellion against God that led to his expulsion from heaven, and he became the vagabond leader of all proud people whether they know it or not. The same punishment meted out to satan and the other fallen angels that joined the rebellion against God awaits anyone who embraces a prideful lifestyle. And it does not matter that you are a committed churchgoer or follower of Christ, if you have a proud spirit, you are in danger of being cursed by Jehovah unless you change. Choose today to clothe yourself with Christlike humility.
