God’s Word for Today - 12 July 2026
Proverbs 26:2 (KJV): As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come.
Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 12 July 2026
Experience shows that many people of all faiths have a morbid fear of being cursed and that is right, unless you are knowledgeable about what God’s Word says about curses and when to fear them. In today’s scripture we see clearly that curses are of no effect, except someone has violated God’s redline. It is also certain that when one is faithfully following Christ and is securely anchored in Jehovah, that person is immune to curses because God shields them. So those who know their God have no reason to fear when they remain faithful. Those who live a lifestyle of cutting corners and compromising their faith must be wary of curses because they have created a hole in the protective shield of God and the enemy can pass through to them. Beware, don’t give the enemy a passage.
Pray: Divine Holy Spirit, help me to stay secure in Your shadow untouchable by any curse. #Mok
