Malachi 1:14 (KJV): But cursed [be] the deceiver, which hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the Lord a corrupt thing: for I [am] a great King, saith the LORD of hosts, and my name [is] dreadful among the heathen.

Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 19 July 2026

It is very important to establish one thing about the God who created the entire universe and everything that is in it and crowned His work by creating human beings in His image and likeness. God does not need humans, but humans cannot do without God. God detests every form of deception, especially deception that relates to worshipping and serving Jehovah. But this is precisely what many churchgoers, from the pulpit to the pews, do every time when they come before God or privately. God is more interested in your obedience than in your sacrifice because your obedience will always ensure that you offer Christ the right sacrifice with a pure heart and worshipful spirit. You can deceive your church leaders and others, but you cannot deceive Jehovah, so I urge you to quit your deceptive games because God sees through you.
