God’s Word for Today - 30 July 2026

Malachi 2:2 (KJV): If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay [it] to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay [it] to heart.

Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 30 July 2026

Whilst there is no defensible or justifiable reason for anyone to not give God all the glory that belongs to Him, one can possibly understand when those who do not know God or believe in Yahweh fail to give Him glory for whom He is and what He does for all humans. Many, in their ignorance and some due to their pride, take the deadly path of sharing or even stealing the glory that is due to God. The Bible records that King Herod did it, God struck him and he was eaten alive by worms instantly. That’s how serious God takes this and you don’t want to fall foul of that. God’s permanent curse is upon all those who share His glory, no matter who they may be and what position they occupy in life. If you are prone to doing this, I urge you to cease henceforth and always return all the glory to God.
