The Bible lets us know that he wanders about in search of who to kill, destroy or steal from. That’s his mission and you don’t want to be a victim. You must stay awake and be alert working, watching and praying in concert with the Holy Spirit. Whatsoever you do, be it working, playing, praying, investing or simply living, let the Holy Spirit be your guide and guard.   Pray: Jehovah the Great Protector, I bring myself under You, please keep me awake and alert and let me not suffer loss. #Mok

From the beginning when Jehovah created humans He gave them authority and empowered them to multiply and be fruitful in all that they do. He endowed them with creative ability and the desire to explore their environment. He gave them the duty of cultivating the land and care for their environment. It is quite disheartening to see many church communities where these principles are jettisoned and replaced with the human doctrine of spending most of the day in church engaged in misguided prayer sessions for prosperity. They seem to be unaware that God will only bless the work you do. Think again and correct your missteps.   Pray: Gracious God, cause me to understand Your word and to profit by Your teaching. #Mok

God’s Word for Today - 28 Aug 2025 Genesis 26:12 KJV — Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him.   Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 28 Aug 2025 I have seen and heard today’s scripture frequently used out of context by preachers, some out of sheer ignorance and others for personal gains. But whichever way, the main motive is to play on people’s ignorance of the scriptures and to swindle them for money. When taken in its true context, the scripture alludes to the faithfulness of Jehovah in keeping His covenant to bless those who will diligently work hard in spite of unfavorable circumstances. It is faithfully trusting God to play His part when you invest your energy and resources into labouring in spite of unfavorable environment. It is not about “sowing” the seed God gave you to invest in a profitable venture into the offering basket in church. Wake up from your slumber.   Pray: Divine Holy Spirit, You are the great Teacher, please give me wisdom to discern the truth in Your word. #Mok
