God’s Word for Today - 15 Oct 2025   2 Thessalonians 3:14 KJV — And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.   Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 15 Oct 2025   There is a general clamour for harmony in church communities in the world and that is laudable. But the problem with this is that many want to have that harmony by compromising fundamental principles of the faith. This is not acceptable and must always be called out. There must be no room for compromise and anyone who is unwilling to be corrected must be isolated and helped to conform. There are many in churches who love to be seen as followers of Christ but in character they are the opposite of everything that Christ represents. Yet these folks want to dictate how things are done in the churches whilst preaching the need for harmony. Beware never to compromise the doctrines of Christ to create false harmony.   Pray: Gracious God, give me boldness never to compromise on Your divine directions. #Mok

God’s Word for Today - 14 Oct 2025    Mark 1:27 KJV — And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? What new doctrine is this? For with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him.   Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 14 Oct 2025   Jesus Christ is Lord of all and has ultimate authority over all in the physical and spiritual realms. Sicknesses and diseases obey Him and satan and all the powers of darkness tremble at the mention of the name of Jesus Christ. All power belongs to Christ and He gives authority to those who truthfully trust in Him and obey Him to exercise that power in His name. There are many today who abuse their authority in Christ by extorting and exploiting others and God will call them to account when they least expect it. Be careful to never abuse or misuse the authority you have in Christ. Use it only for God’s glory and for the benefit of people.   Pray: Omnipotent God, thank You for giving me authority to exercise power in Your name. Help me never to disappoint You. #Mok

God’s Word for Today - 13 Oct 2025 1 Peter 3:1 KJV — Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;   Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 13 Oct 2025   Today’s scripture is probably one of the most abused when it comes to marital relationships and it is very sad that many church leaders fall foul of misusing and misinterpreting this scripture by refusing to acknowledge the remaining part of the chapter to understand what the scriptures are teaching. Truly the order in a home chaired by the Holy Spirit is clearly set out and the husband is saddled with the responsibility of leading the home. No one should ever contest this but most abusers hardly show any Christlike leadership traits that is required so wives can follow without grumbling. While this doesn’t exonerate the wives from obeying, it does require them to walk closer with the Holy Spirit. What category are you in and when will you change?   Pray: Oh Lord God, give me grace to make my spousal relationship pleasing to You. #Mok
