Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 01 Aug 2025
Those who observe how those who call Christ Lord and Saviour live in the world are quick to point out the lack of coherence between what is said and what is done. Today’s scripture by Prophet Hosea reinforces this dysfunction and calls for a change. It is sad to see that many are spiritually destitute and that ought not to be so, because God has given us the Holy Spirit to help us to live right in a corrupt world. Jehovah expects each of us to love justice, show mercy and walk humbly before Him. When you do this, you are assured it will not be in vain, because the One who has promised is also able to bring it to pass. I encourage you to set out today and break up your fallow grounds.
