Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 01 July 2025
There is no one that I know who derives pleasure in suffering. It is simply contrary to human nature. But we do know that some people have to be punished for doing wrong and the suffering is associated with the rightful punishment. And that’s okay and they have no right to blame anyone. However in the culture of God’s kingdom the followers of Christ are enjoined to endure being punished for doing what pleases Jehovah by living right in all circumstances. This is contrary to human culture. But you can do this because you have the Holy Spirit living in you to enable you and give you peace in the circumstance.
Pray: Heavenly Father, thank You for giving me Your Holy Spirit to help me endure persecution for doing what is right. #Mok
