Ezekiel 2:6 KJV — And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.
Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 02 July 2025
No one needs being told that we live in perilous times and wickedness has permeated deep into the fabric of society. People scheme to take undue advantage of each other and that happens everywhere you turn, also in some church communities where folks can be seen to be even more dangerous than those who proclaim no faith in Christ. You have nothing to worry about if you are genuinely following Christ because such people cannot cause you harm, for Christ is with you. So you must not fear them despite their fearsome machinations, but just trust Jehovah to protect you always.
