There are many people in church communities worldwide who fail to understand the concept of spiritual authority. As a result it is abused, misused or simply ignored. This comes with consequences and everyone who calls Jesus Lord and Saviour must refrain from falling foul of this. You must honour those who guide and mentor you in the way of Christ and not rebel against them. Learn to obey them in the Lord that God may be pleased with you. Always remember that all authority is derived from Jehovah.
