Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 03 Apr 2025
If you are a disciple of Christ and a business owner, I want you to please ask yourself what kind of employer you are. I am focused on you who have received enabling grace from Yahweh to live and work in the culture of Jehovah’s Kingdom here on earth so as to stand out as light in the darkness of the present world. Do you still use sharp and condemnable business practices as those without Christ do? Do you treat your staff with the dignity they deserve and pay them living wages or are you more concerned about profits rather than people? I want you to know that your business is not your own but Jehovah’s and you are merely the steward He has appointed to nurture it and the employees He has given you. Treat them well so you don’t incur an unpleasant reward.
Pray: Gracious God and Father of mercy, help me Lord to be a faithful steward of what You have endowed to me. #Mok
