Reflection on God’s Word for Today – 03 June 2025
God gave the children of Israel an irrevocable promise, through His covenant with Abraham, to take them from Egyptian captivity and slavery into a land flowing with milk and honey. It took them 40 years as Jehovah tested their faith in Him to do as He promised and they failed repeatedly. He fulfilled the promise all the same because that is His nature – promise made, promise kept. In Christ, God has made the same promise to give eternal life to all those who will trust in the sacrifice Jesus made, but their faith will be sorely tested. Are you in Christ and currently experiencing fiery trials? Fret not, it is all in God’s plan and you will surely overcome if you continue to hold on.
