You are reading today’s scripture and you are wondering what is it about the heart that makes it so important to God. When God created Adam and Eve out of dust He breathed His life into them and they became living souls and partaker of Jehovah’s Spirit. They were one and in unity with God. But they allowed themselves to be deceived by satan and their heart became diseased and corrupted. Their DNA was now compromised. And you are now carrying that corrupted heart and compromised DNA as everyone who descended from Adam does, and that’s the whole of the human race. It is impossible to be reconciled to Jehovah unless the now dysfunctional and stony heart is excised and replaced with a heart of flesh that can be reprogrammed to obey God and walk in His way. Are you ready to submit to the Divine Surgeon today?
Pray: Redeemer God, I yield to You in total submission, take out the rebellious heart from me and give me a new heart that pleases You always. #Mok
