Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 05 Aug 2024
It is disheartening to see several people pining away in their bid to obtain justification from God by focusing their energy on keeping the ten commandments when Jehovah has moved on to reveal the way to being justified. It is absolutely impossible for you, or anyone for that matter, to receive justification by your human efforts. That’s why God sacrificed Christ for our justification and it is only by receiving that free gift that Jehovah offers to anyone who comes to Christ that you will be justified, through Jesus and in Him alone. Once you do that God’s righteousness is automatically imputed to you. And the Holy Spirit that now resides in you becomes your Enabler, keeping you in the path of righteous living. Are you ready to submit to Jesus as your Saviour and Lord?
Pray: Omnipotent Father, thank You for justifying me and clothing me with Your righteousness. Help me Lord never to forget who I am in Christ. #Mok
