I know very well that today’s scripture is talking about the seed of God’s word and not just any seed. That seed has a purpose to convict people of sin and draw them to God’s provision for their salvation out of bondage to sin. If you have been busy sowing that seed and you are wondering why the harvest is not forthcoming, you need to consider if you are sowing in the right soil to ensure your labour is not in vain. It highlights the need for careful and prayerful preparation and persistence to reduce the incidence of lost seeds. The battle for souls is real, intense and fierce so you must work with the Holy Spirit to achieve success.
