Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 06 Sept 2024
Religious folks, more often than not, are always stuck with the wrong end of the stick as they make up rules that should supposedly meet God’s standard for behaviour and consecrated living. They are focused so much on the external that they completely miss the fact that it is what goes on inside of you that determines what you do and who you turn out to be. Today’s scripture is a reminder that you are defiled by your thoughts and not by the non-observance of any man-made rituals and rules as some church leaders will have you believe. Determine today to jealously guard your heart and prevent any impure thoughts from polluting and poisoning your life.
