Anyone who will follow Christ and abide in Him must make an intentional decision and commitment to follow through with that choice. It is impossible to dwell in Christ and let Christ dwell in you without a commitment to consecrated living, a commitment to not defile yourself. Many are going about today fully enmeshed in a lifestyle of sin and proclaiming to have Jesus as Lord. How can that be? If Jesus be your Lord, how then does your lifestyle say otherwise? Your fruit must reflect the Christ in you. You must be Christlike in your demeanor all the time, even in the face of oppression and persecution. Are you ready for that? Let the Holy Spirit help you.
