Matthew 6:2 (KJV) - Therefore when thou doest [thine] alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 09 Mar 2023
It has become common practice for people to broadcast the good deeds they are doing, all in a bid to win accolades and praise from the public. Some even do so in order to get more funding to consume on their lusts, deceiving the innocent donors. Do not be like them. Let your charity be done in humility without any flamboyance if you seek to please and glorify God.
