Deuteronomy 25:1 KJV — If there be a controversy between men, and they come unto judgment, that the judges may judge them; then they shall justify the righteous, and condemn the wicked.
Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 13 Feb 2024
How often do you hear of miscarriage of justice in societies across the world without exception? Sadly, this is growing to be the norm in the justice system. People wrongly convicted and incarcerated for decades, only to find out upon review of their cases, that they were denied justice. People are wrongly dismissed from work and without any compensation. That's the hallmark of a decaying and corrupt society. It is the consequence of rejecting God's divine measures for adjudicating between parties in a dispute, and for determining guilt or innocence in matters of law and living. Sadly, leaders of churches and ministries are also guilty of this condemnable behaviour, when they justify the wicked for ulterior motives. But you can rest assured that Jehovah condemns and will reward whoever perverts justice. They will never go unpunished, unless they repent and restitute.
Pray: Dear Lord, please confer on me an incorruptible spirit that I may do justice always. #Mok
