Reflection on God’s Word for Today – 13 June 2025
It is not unusual to see many people in church communities worldwide who are puffed up with extreme arrogance because of their socioeconomic status or their position in the society. And they look down on others with disdain as if they are better than those less privileged people. Today’s scripture is a reminder to such puffed up people that they are who they are, not by their own wisdom and ability, but because they have been enabled by Jehovah. If you brag about your position and possessions, beware, because you are treading a slippery path to destruction. I urge you to learn humility so you don’t incur the anger of Jehovah and be put to shame.
