Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 15 Aug 2024
Many who follow Christ seem to have a poor understanding of what following Jesus really entails. And one wonders why that should be the case because the Bible is quite explicit and detailed about the cost of following Jesus. It is very clearly stated that coming to Jesus is absolutely free but staying with Jesus is at great personal cost to your person and it could even cost you your life. But many have been deceived and many more are still being deceived by false promises spread by ignorant disciples who say once in Christ all your problems just disappear. This is nothing but total deception and it is a message from the devil. Please know that in Christ you will suffer many tribulations and fiery trials of your faith, but be assured that you will be victorious if you stand firm with Jehovah.
