Revelation 3:12 KJV — Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 15 May 2025
Most people who join an earthly race join with the intention to finish the race and possibly get a trophy. Hardly do you find anyone joining the race just for the fun of it and without the intention to finish and to win. If that is so for an earthly race offering temporary satisfaction, what will the attraction for the heavenly race with eternal promises be? Jehovah wants everyone who embarks on the journey of life in Christ to not only finish the race but to finish it well, so He gives them the Holy Spirit to guide and lead them to the end. I implore you to submit to the Holy Spirit, overcome the enemy and receive your new name in Christ.
Pray: Most Gracious Jehovah, give me grace to overcome the enemy and finish the race You set before me. #Mok
