Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 18 July 2025
There is no doubt whatever in my mind that many people who are walking in the way of Christ are still encumbered by the fear of people. They fear those who they think have the power to harm them or hinder them from fulfilling purpose or for whatever real or imagined reasons they have cooked up for themselves. But Christ warned His followers to fear no one, not even those who can kill the body but have no power beyond that. The only One to fear is Jehovah God who can destroy both body and soul. I implore you therefore to trust Christ and rid yourself of that unnecessary fear of people.
Pray: Gracious God, I thank You because You did not give me the spirit of fear. Help me to always remember this. #Mok
