Many people today fail to understand that a building dedicated as a sanctuary for the worship of Jehovah should not be used for any other purposes that do not glorify God. The modern trend of turning such sanctuaries into multi-purpose halls may make commercial sense but is antithetical to the purpose of the Holy God. Whilst it is true that God doesn’t dwell in buildings made with human hands, it is essential to note that a building dedicated to the worship of Jehovah must maintain that status and should never be defiled. The same is true for your body that is now the true temple that God dwells in. Whatever you have consecrated to the living God, whether it is a physical building or your body, must in reverence to Jehovah be kept holy and undefiled.
