Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 19 May 2025
Jehovah God relates with humanity via covenants. That’s His modus operandi. When Adam and Eve crossed the red line in the Garden of Eden and God expelled them from His presence, Jehovah instituted a new plan to reconcile humankind to Himself. The Old Covenant sealed with the blood of animals could not accomplish the goal, so God triggered the ultimate plan that resulted in the New Covenant sealed in the blood of Christ for the redemption of the whole world, not just the children of Israel, in fulfilment of the promise to Abraham the father of faith. Jesus Christ was that seed of Abraham through whom all nations were to be blessed. The promised blessing is the free gift of salvation through faith in Christ who was crucified as atonement for the sin of humankind. You too can accept that free salvation gift and be reconciled to Jehovah.
Pray: Almighty God, thank You for the New Covenant that opened the door of salvation to me. Take me into Your family Lord. #Mok
