2 Corinthians 5:20 KJV — Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.
Reflection on God’s Word for Today – 21 Mar 2025
Yahweh sent His only begotten Son Jesus the Christ on a crucial mission to reconcile humankind to their Creator in accordance to His declared purpose in Genesis 3. Christ endured the humiliating death on the cross at Calvary as substitute for you and I who deserve to die but are now offered a “get out of jail” card free through God’s saving grace. This selfless sacrifice of Christ has opened the gate to everyone who chooses to be reconciled to Jehovah and enter into a one on one relationship with the most high God. Everyone who is a follower of Christ is duty-bound to continue in the mission of reconciliation as commissioned ambassadors for Christ and co-labourers in God’s vineyard. Beware, God will not tolerate dereliction of this sacred duty.
