Revelation 2:17 KJV — He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 23 May 2025
There can be no doubt whatsoever in anyone’s mind that there are many in church communities across the world who have ears but are definitely deaf of hearing to what God’s Spirit is broadcasting to them. While many are partially deaf, some are stone deaf to the point of being hostile to the Holy Spirit. The promises of Jehovah are reserved strictly for those who endure to the end – the overcomers of all the trials and tribulations that satan threw at them. But you cannot overcome if you do not hear, trust and obey what the Holy Spirit is saying by way of teaching, guiding, comforting and warring. You have to be receptive and humble in receiving the support the Holy Spirit provides you.
Pray: Immortal God, give me hearing ears and a heart that trusts and obeys You in all things that I may receive the promise. #Mok
