The damnedest form of deceit is self-deceit. By deceiving yourself you fail to take the necessary steps that should lead you to becoming who God intended you to be. You can deceive people by presenting a false image of yourself, but you can’t deceive Jehovah. You are like an open book to God. Repent and forsake your evil ways!
