Everyone who decides to follow Christ and be part of His family must prioritise the proactive and diligent exploration of the Bible to gain wisdom, knowledge and understanding for the journey and commission. You must, as Jesus your role model, be ever ready to guide and lead others with clarity and conviction into the truth of Christ. I urge you not to be like many who are full of empty words of being disciples of Christ but cannot back their boasts with verifiable actions. Commit yourself to embrace the Word, continually abide in the Word and ask the Holy Spirit for staying power and vigour. Strive to be a faithful steward of God's Word.
