Reflection on God’s Word for Today – 26 June 2025
No one messes with the Sovereign God and gets away with it lightly. Those who are fortunate live to tell the story and possibly learn a lesson and mend their ways. But not everyone is fortunate as we read in today’s scripture. King Herod failed to give God the glory that belongs to Him and God destroyed him. Jehovah will not ever share His glory with anyone. Today we see many who ascribe God’s glory to themselves or to some idols they adulate. Such people are toying with fire and will be burnt severely unless they repent and desist. Always remember you are nothing without Christ and you can achieve nothing unless God enables you. Give God alone the glory.
