Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 26 Sept 2025
In my experience as a minister of Christ’s gospel and ministry leader I have encountered several married people from different religious and faith backgrounds, many of whom showed little regard for what today’s scripture enjoins couples to do. While the scripture speaks particularly to those who are following Christ, it is universally applicable to everyone who is in a marriage union. It is absolutely important for husbands to value and honour their wives, but many men find this hard to do because they have been falsely indoctrinated by the prevailing culture in the world. But God’s Kingdom culture demands otherwise, so you must stop lording it over your wife.
