Isaiah 54:4 KJV — Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.
Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 27 July 2025
When we look at any promise of God to any particular person or group it is important to look out for the unchanging principles of a never changing Jehovah to see how and if we can appropriate that promise to ourselves and our situation. In today’s scripture the bottom line to note is that Jehovah is promising restoration and hope to a people who are disillusioned because of their unpalatable circumstances. We know Jehovah is the God who never speaks a word that is not fulfilled, so we can trust Him in similar circumstances to rally to our help. What will you do with this knowledge today? I urge you to cry unto God in faith for deliverance and restoration.
