Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 27 Sept 2024
It is quite disheartening to see how much premium people place on ceremonial purity to the neglect of the more important spiritual sanctity. This pharisaical behaviour is very rampant in the assemblies of those who name Christ as Lord and Saviour. And that ought not to be. Every Christ disciple must understand that religious rituals cannot cleanse anyone of sin. And not observing those rituals cannot defile you either. It is the sinful thoughts of the heart and the ensuing actions that defile. This is why you need to yield to the Holy Spirit and follow His bidding so you can be pure and undefiled. Do not procrastinate about this because time is of essence.
Pray: Most Excellent God, I am tired of meaningless rituals, please give me grace to yield to You and be cleansed. #Mok
