Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 02 May 2026

Followers of Christ in this world are compelled to live amid diverse temptations that threaten to derail them in their faith journey. No wonder that Christ implores everyone to be watchful and prayerful. If Jesus Christ had to face temptation, you must know that none who is alive is exempt from being tempted. Satan the archenemy of your soul is the tempter seeking whom to destroy. That is his mission. You cannot overcome temptation by sheer willpower, but when you submit yourself to God’s Spirit and allow Him to fight for you, you conquer. Only through Christ can you be victorious, so be steadfast and let nothing distract you from following Christ faithfully.
