God’s Word for Today - 02 Oct 2026

Matthew 4:10 (KJV): Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 02 Oct 2026

From the Garden of Eden where the devil succeeded in deceiving Adam and Eve to relinquish their divine position and authority to satan until this day, the devil has not relented in his pursuit for worship by humans. He was so sure of himself that he even tried to trap Jesus Christ in his devilish crave for worship. What a delusion that a creature would want his Creator to bow in worship of him. Sadly, there are millions in the world today who do the will of satan either in ignorance or intentionally. And these can also be found among those who profess Christ as Saviour. From the pulpit to the pews many, because of their inordinate desires and desperation, are willing to compromise their faith and bow to the devil. And there are others who refuse to accept the devil’s offer but are using the wrong weapons. You can only put satan in his place by following Christ’s example.

Pray: Omniscient God, teach me to reject the devil and worship You alone. #Mok
