2 Peter 2:21 (KJV): For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known [it], to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

Reflection on God’s Word for Today – 08 June 2026

It is most unfortunate to see people who, for whatever reasons, have turned their back on God and walked away from following Christ to fully embrace the world and what it offers. It is disheartening because such people know that loving the world and what it offers means being an enemy of God and what consequences follow that. It is most difficult, if not impossible, to make such people see the error of their ways and make them turn around to embrace Christ again. If they persist in rejecting God that is what the Bible refers to as the sin against the Holy Spirit. Anyone who, despite all entreatments, sticks to this position cannot be forgiven and faces eternal separation from the Almighty Father. This is not a position you want to be in, so I implore you to be reconciled to God.
