Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 09 Jan 2026

Today’s scripture is directed squarely at those Christ followers who have chosen to sit comfortably in their comfort zone to the point of stagnation in their walk of faith in Christ. They claim to be work in progress but show no evidence of that progress in their maturity level as ambassadors of Christ. You must know that when you are in Christ you are obligated to submit yourself to the Holy Ghost for pruning so you can bear fruit. You are called to a lifetime of fruit-bearing, not resting on your oars and praising your past achievements. God expects you to train and grow your faith muscle consistently and continuously and mature from needing milk to crunching bones. If you are not doing that then you are failing yourself and disappointing Christ. Don’t let the anointing of God upon you remain fallow. Use it for the glory of Jehovah.

Pray: Faithful Jehovah, thank You for empowering me to bear fruit. Please take me out of my lethargy and help me to grow in my walk with You. #Mok
