Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 14 Apr 2026

Human beings, including some who are following Christ, have the tendency of arrogating their successes and achievements in life to their own superior ability. How very deceived they are. Let me make it clear that there have been others and there are others who are better, smarter, and wiser and have put in more effort than you but did not get the desired outcome. There is nothing you are doing differently, so the secret of success is not you but in an external factor you are overlooking. And that external factor is the favour that Jehovah bestows on whoever He will. So, I counsel you to come down from your pedestal, humble yourself and glorify God for being gracious to you.
