God’s Word for Today - 25 Oct 2026

2 Chronicles 31:21 (KJV): And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, and in the law, and in the commandments, to seek his God, he did [it] with all his heart, and prospered.

Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 25 Oct 2026

God has the unique attribute of faithfully rewarding those who truthfully serve Him with their person and their possessions. And God does not just reward them; He does it in ways beyond what anyone can imagine. That is the nature of Jehovah and He is worthy to be worshipped and glorified. But there is one blemish that is quite common among people who are serving God. They adopt a transactional attitude towards Jehovah, mostly because of their ignorance about who God is and what His ways are. They have been taught that if they want anything from God they must first give to God. That is a distorted doctrine. God’s love for the world compelled Him to give us His Son so that none should perish. So, when we give to God it should be in appreciation of what He has done and not what we want from Him. And when we do that wholeheartedly in worship and thankfulness, Jehovah responds with an amazing surprise. Learn to serve Him for whom He is.

Pray: Gracious God, thank You Lord for making me who I am. Please teach me to serve you faithfully for whom You are. #Mok
