Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 26 Apr 2026

Situations arise in life when one feels as if one is out of favour with Jehovah. And I tell you that nobody is exempt from that season of life. It is quite obvious that the Psalmist was in such a situation and thankfully he turned to the only one, El Shaddai, who could change his situation. It is quite concerning that many churchgoers have been sold a false narrative that when anyone is following Christ that person will be exempt from facing unpleasant situations and circumstances. But Christ never promised that. In the contrary He told those who would follow Him to expect trials and tribulations in this world, and He promised to always be with them, even in those situations. So, anyone who is genuinely following Christ is never out of favour with Jehovah but that does not mean they will not face challenges. But they are assured of victory always.
