Ezekiel 18:20 (KJV): The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 26 Sept 2026

In the kingdom of the world people can and do often escape accountability for their actions because the world is corrupted. But this is not so with the righteous God who rules in the affairs of those who He created. Everyone will account for themselves in God’s time and no proxies are accepted. A child cannot ride on the faithfulness and righteous living of the parents neither can the parents lay claim to their children’s obedience to the divine will. Every spouse in a marriage will each bear responsibility for their lifestyle and actions whether they are of God or of the devil. So, you must know that you will receive the just reward for how you have responded to Jehovah’s demand on you. Now that you know I urge you to walk away from sin and walk in the light and love of Christ.
