Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 28 Apr 2026

One hears people in churches praying that Jehovah would favour them as He did for Joseph. And you wonder if they truly understand what they are asking for, because when you explain the implications of the prayer to them, they balk and say they only want the end result that Joseph got and not the process that he went through. Many who are following Christ today want to have all the blessings and promises of Christ and none of the trials and tribulations that precede the blessings. But things do not work that way in God’s Kingdom. Jehovah will cause you to find favour in line with His divine blueprint for your life as you submit yourself to His divine refinement and pruning. Are you willing and ready for this?
