Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 04 Feb 2024
Today's scripture jolted me to a better appreciation of what we seem to be oblivious to as human beings. We see all the evil and injustice going on in the world and conclude erroneously that God is not bothered and doesn't care about what is happening in the world. On the contrary, the Bible states unambiguously that Jehovah cares and He is livid with anger regarding the evil and injustice in the world and He will justify the righteous and damn the wicked at the time He has determined. We may not understand why and we can surely ask Him questions, but we cannot query His decision to act or refrain from acting. I don't know about you, but I would rather want to be found doing those things that please Jehovah and living in a way that glorifies God.
